Welcome!

After a couple of years sitting on the sidelines, I'm starting up a blog again. Why? Well, mostly because I like to hear myself talk. But apart from that, I come up with some interesting thoughts on games, art, and culture sometimes. Usually, this happens in the shower. By noon, I've forgotten what they were. So, instead of forgetting all of the thoughts that I have, I'm going to start writing them down. After all, writing is what I do.

So, if you've found your way here, you might be wondering what to expect. The majority of this blog will me my thoughts on games and interactive art from my perspective as a professional game designer. Sometimes, I analyze things with my artist brain, searching for meaning and profound expression in a medium that is still in its infancy. Other times, I will analyze things with my business brain, I mean this is largely about making money and without money art can't exist.

Mostly, this blog is about me talking to myself. But, I hope that you find something useful here too.
